When Is Yukon Changing Style

Hometown image

Edgar Allan Poe is a very popular writer in this blog. Some time ago we celebrated birthday (two hundred years is not met every day!) And now we will read some of their stories in class of universal literature. The chosen stories and activities will you do then are here:

The black cat

1. Summary of the story.

2. Explain what aspects of the story lies the terror.

The Tell-Tale Heart

3. Find common ground with this story and the previous one (you can start by the narrator, Person tells what?.)

The Premature Burial

4. Account of two experiences expressed by the narrator from treaties and medical journals.

5. Looking for information on catalepsy: their definition, the appearance of catatonic patients ... You can look here and here.

6. Explain briefly what happens to the narrator.

Hop-Frog

1. Resume history from the standpoint of the child, imagine, for example, reminiscent of what happened years later.

2. The story has elements of children's books: list them.

3. Type in "Google Images" "dwarf jesters." Come see the first works of English painters like Velazquez. Choose one you think appropriate for the image of Hop-Frog. Do not forget to write the name of the book, the author and the source of the image.
